We are the Solution
This website -- EVvoteblue.org -- was begun in 2020 to provide voters in Estes Valley with information about their candidates, information about voting in Colorado, and why it is SO important for each of us to VOTE.
Those reasons continue today -- and the message about voting has grown more urgent.
Our country is experiencing difficult times. With the upcoming 2026 election, we voters have the Opportunity and Power to start rebuilding our county. Taking back Democratic majorities in the U.S. House and Senate is essential to effectively address the serious problems facing us, including:
Domestic Issues
- The Affordability Crises - in housing, in healthcare, in food insecurity, in energy costs
- The inhumane treatment of immigrants by ICE
- The threats to our voting rights
- The loss of our reproductive rights
- The destruction of our environment, the threats to our public lands, our clean air and water
- The need to safeguard our social safety net: Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran’s Benefits
International Issues (Congress has Constitutional Powers to exercise)
- Ending hostilities with other Countries
- Ending unnecessary tariffs
- Repairing relations with our traditional Allies
What all these issues have in common is that each of us has the Power to turn our country around -- to start being the Solution. It is by using our VOTE. Even when it seems overwhelming, WE have the Power to make that choice.
The Solution is in our hands -- We must VOTE and we must VOTE in massive, overwhelming numbers so that the results are CLEAR and COMPELLING!
